2013 Results
Storm The Beach 2013 was a huge success for all involved! The weather was great, right until clean up (when it poured like mad). We set a new fund-raising record for the fifth year running. In addition, we had a great donation to the food bank, almost tripling the amount collected in 2012.
The final results are:
Championship Bracket Winners: GangGreen (DUC)
Spirit Bracket Winners: Hydra (Niagara Ultimate)
Funds Raised: $2400
Food Collected: 545lbs

Official Results
This year’s winners are Hot Beetches, who beat out Mutiny to take the top spot at Storm The Beach 2012.
This year’s charity will be SickKids who will be receiving a event-record cheque of $2305, thanks to all our participants and sponsors.
Fare Share Food Bank Northumberland was the recipient of 205lbs of food from our event. Again, great job!
The ultimate community sure knows something about Spirit!

Pub Event
Durham Ultimate Club has worked with The Cat and the Fiddle pub to put together a deal for event participants. Starting at 3:10pm, you can head over to the pub to take advantage of the deal:
- $0.60 wings
- $15 domestic pitchers
We’ve got the whole back patio booked, and there’s lots of shade. We’ll be doing a 50/50 draw there afterwards, drawing the number at 5:30pm.
The pub has been added to the Storm The Beach Event Map.
